Training Summary

Weekend 1: Deep-dive into the Pilates method, its founding principles, and the “why” behind the “how.” You’ll learn both beginner and intermediate classical Pilates mat exercises, their order, and most importantly, how to effectively teach them. Every teacher has their unique strength when it comes to teaching a class, and together, we will find yours!

Weekend 2: Review intermediate mat and introduce props (small balls, hand weights, magic circles, etc.). Discuss basic anatomy for Pilates mat and how to use this knowledge to modify your class to accommodate the specific needs of a student with an injury or illness.
